Supporting our British Paralympic champions

Aug 2021

We are delighted to congratulate Dame Sarah Storey and Crystal Lane-Wright, British Gold and Silver medalists, respectively, in Track Cycling at the 2020 Paralympic Games in Tokyo (on 25 August 2021).

A committed champion of disability sport, the Peter Harrison Foundation has supported British Paralympic Teams since 2003 as they have gone from strength to strength.

As the impact of Covid threatened the work and commitment of our talented athletes, we were pleased to be able to support the British Paralympic Association with an additional, exceptional grant of £100,000 towards the extra costs incurred due to the pandemic.

Crystal Lane-Wright was supported personally as a student at Loughborough University, and we couldn’t be more proud. Loughborough University remains the home of Peter Harrison Centre for Disability Sport.

We look forward to cheering on the whole of the GB team throughout these Games and wish them all the very best of luck.
