How does the organisation exemplify PHF’s values?

Reigate Grammar School embodies PHF’s values of excellence, entrepreneurship, integrity, and sustainability through a range of impactful initiatives and practices.

Excellence
At RGS, we cultivate a culture of excellence through our comprehensive teaching methods, innovative curriculum, dedicated people, extensive outreach, and strategic partnerships. This commitment is reflected in our most recent ISI report, which highlighted how our students feel universally happy being their true selves.

We instill a strong sense of confidence in our students, encouraging them to go out into the world and forge their own paths. By offering a framework that promotes independent and creative learning, we empower our students to be the architects of their own education. Our flexible curriculum allows them to curate their own educational journeys, exemplified by our Enterprise Challenge group, where students establish and run their own businesses, seek resources from investors, and develop a broad range of entrepreneurial capabilities.

Entrepreneurship
Entrepreneurship is woven into the fabric of our educational approach. Our Enterprise Challenge group provides students with real-world experience in setting up and managing businesses, enhancing their entrepreneurial skills. This hands-on approach encourages students to think creatively, take initiative, and develop a strong business acumen, preparing them for future success in the dynamic global marketplace.

Integrity
Integrity is a cornerstone of our educational philosophy. We prioritise educating and collaborating with a generation of families committed to moral integrity and global citizenship. Our role extends beyond the classroom, encompassing a deep understanding of our responsibilities within the local community and beyond. We deliver on our promises and are committed to social mobility, offering lifelong support through the Reigatian community. This commitment fosters an invisible thread that binds our community together and the understanding of being part of something larger than oneself.

Sustainability
Our dedication to sustainability is evident through initiatives like our eco committee and the 350 anniversary which focuses specifically on sustainability as one of the main initiatives. We proactively anticipate how we can enhance our sustainability efforts, learning from other industries and leaders. Our approach is not limited to planting trees; we educate our community to be mindful and aware of sustainability issues and encourage a collaborative approach to achieving our environmental goals
