Two new classrooms for The Sheiling

Jul 2018

In 2017 the Peter Harrison Foundation made a grant of £25,000 towards the building of two new classrooms for Sheiling College in Ringwood, Hampshire. The classrooms have now been completed and are being used by students.

This new building has allowed the college to increase its number of students, by providing purpose-built teaching space along with additional quiet rooms and disabled toilets.

Sheiling College is an Independent Specialist College for young adults aged 19-25 with severe, complex and moderate learning disabilities, including young adults with autistic spectrum disorders. They offer 38-week, day, weekly and residential places.
